This is the second poem. It is the haiku. A haiku is Japaneese-based poem that is usually about nature. It has a 5, 7, 5 syllabication scheme and is unrhymed. I based my haiku on the cherry blossoms in D.C. Since I live around D.C, the Cherry Blossoms mean a lot to me. Their beautiful color just make it a pleasant scene walking or driving through the crowded lanes of D.C.
