This is one of the lastest poems that I wrote. This is the lyric poem. A lyric has 10 verses and has a chorus verse that repeats at least twice in the poem. 

This poem has a very strong connection to me. It is about one of the thing that my cousin and I have in common. She attended the same middle school as me. She graduated with the SRMS class of 2004. She was really excited when she heard that I was going to attend the same middle school as her. We always chat about the teachers who were there back then and the teachers who are still here now. Since our school's mascot is the Thunderbolts, we are nicknamed the Thunderbolt Smarties.
